`Chopin is a traditional "high density" fly in that used to be one of the most popular online events in Europe. There is no timetable or any pre booking requirements. You can all just join us at any time!
* Real life callsigns are not required.
* No fixed routes - just fly to Warsaw from any airport of your choice or vice versa.
* Some other airports in Poland will be staffed as well - check ATC. It is a good opportunity to fly a short, domestic route.
Previous editions accumulated more than 250 flights. The average number of operations per hour was higher than the TMA Warsaw capacity in the real world and all operations were handled with no major delays.
We will provide no less than 9 controllers at peak times working together to safely guide you to or from Warsaw. There will be 3x Warsaw Radar, 2x Warsaw Approach (Approach and Director), Tower, Ground, Delivery and Coordinator. Fluent traffic flow will be provided by our best, highly experienced and friendly virtual controllers.
Warsaw-Okecie is a middle size international airport with two intersecting runways used simultaneously, 6 APRONS (including international apron with gates, CARGO, GA, Military), ILS and VOR/DME approaches and an extensive taxiway system.
Please read Fly In Info available on our dedicated website: http://www.pl-vacc.org/chopin/
Please remember to download and install our freeware EPWA, Warsaw Okecie, scenery and all the required charts (available on the dedicated website).
Join us in on 21st March between 1700 and 2000Z!`
